VH1's Top 21 Countdown
Diamond & Pearl guest hosted VH1's Top 21 Countdown over the Christmas season and
wished all the viewers a great holiday and a great 1992 !

Diamond & Pearl were guests on the Australian 'Tonight Live' show. They explained that Prince gave
then their names Diamond and Pearl.
Diamond because they are very hard to find, but once you have found them all you need to do is
polish them and they will shine.
Pearl an analogy of a clam, tough shell, hard exterior and you have to kinda pry it open. But when you do
there is a beautiful thing inside.
Lori explained how she first met Prince. She was in New York and it was raining and she ran to get a cab. She got in one side of cab and at the same time this man got in the other side. Lori told the man that this was her cab. Lori was going up-town whilst the man was going down-town. They shared the cab all the way up-town were they dropped off Lori. The man then had to travel all the way back down-town. Lori later found out that the man was Prince !
