July 19, 2003 -- Got your calendar handy?...

One last time...

The premiere is at 8 p.m. EST. Check your local cable stations to make sure they carry ABC Family as it's not the same as the network station. And I've learned that there will not only be an encore that evening at 10 p.m., but 8 p.m. on the 26th as well.

Speaking of the 26th, check this out if you haven't already, because it's classic. Well, to me at least. If you've never seen a very young Kim play a vamp (I'd roll my tongue if I could) in an episode of Tales from the Crypt ("The Bribe"), then your chance is at 3:35 a.m. The show has moved from the Sci-Fi Channel to AMC (remember when that channel played black and white flicks... from the forties?).

Check it out if you haven't already. Pretty fun to watch as it's from her Bride days.

July 18, 2003 -- Catch "Lucky Seven" this Sunday!

Did you catch Kim's two stints on "The View"? It was great to see her in an extended role as the person asking the questions rather than answering them.

Just so you know; Brad is on the show this Tuesday!

Just a friendly reminder - "Lucky Seven", Kim's new TV movie for ABC Family, is on this Sunday at 8 p.m. EST, with a repeat at 10 p.m. Enjoy!

July 12, 2003 -- Upcoming appearances on "The View", "Lucky Seven" to debut...

Well, hello there. Long time, no updates, I know.

Kim has a couple of appearances coming up that I thought you'd be interested in. First of all, Kim will be a guest host on ABC's The View on Thursday, July 17th, and then the following morning on the 18th. The show airs at 11 a.m. in the New York area. To find out when it will be on in your area, check The View website and use the "When to Watch" function.

On Sunday, July 20th, the ABC Family station will debut Lucky Seven, Kim's new film about a woman whose ideas about love and marriage are turned upside down when she falls in love sooner than she thought she would (or should). As kwc is still not up to speed, there is no page for it in the Press Kit, but to find out more, you can visit the official site for the film.

Lucky Seven airs at 8 p.m. EST, with an encore at 10 p.m.

There was some speculation after Kim and Brad were married about the chances Kim would adopt Paisley as her last name, hyphenate the two or stay "Kimberly Williams" (at least professionally). When Kim appeared last month as a host of CMT's "100 Greatest Songs of Country Music", she introduced herself, and was credited as, "Kimberly Williams-Paisley".

The question was repeated in the July 4-6 issue of USA Weekend, where the name change was confirmed in the "Who's News" column. So, along with the impending new look for the site, I think it's only fair that the site will reflect the change. The new name will debut whenever the site (finally) re-launches for it's fifth anniversary, which is this month! :)

Finally, I'd like to invite people to join the kwc message board, which has been available while site has been down. Registration is free, and we'd love to have you join us. See you there!

Previous Updates

March 16, 2003 -- KIM AND BRAD TO BE WED THIS WEEKEND...

According to Launch media, and reported on both CountryNation and y100fm.com, Kim and Brad are scheduled to be married this weekend. This has been confirmed by Brad's management, although I have not heard anything from Kim's camp.

Based on the reports, the couple will most likely be married in California.

All my best to happy couple! (Now I'm going to go sulk for a while...)

(Thanks to Linda for the HUGE news tip!)

[Talk about it on the KWC Message Board! Registration is free.]

What the heck is wrong with this site? It used to have so much more in it!

Earlier this year, kwc moved to a new server. Long time kwc supporter Sai Wong, webmaster of www.jennifer-lien.com, and who has hosted material for this site in the past, was kind enough to invite this site to his server. I hopped over to the new server... and then never got to work on it.

Okay, okay... six months is long time so even I will concede that it's a lousy excuse. kwc has dropped off the map in terms of Kim sites, and I'm not thrilled about. BUT, I'm also not going to let the site's fifth year go to waste.

Trust me - I'm going to do this... No, really!

What's in store for the site?

To give you an idea of what's in store for the site, here's a list of changes...

  • I will be overhauling the site with a new look.

  • The site's name will change to reflect Kim's new name.

  • There is NO time table for any changes. I'm doing this as time permits.

  • The new server is ad-free. (That part hasn't sunken in yet...Sai you rule...)

  • The address "www.kwcentral.net" is THE way to access the site whether the name changes or not. The domain name has been renewed. And yeah, I missed out on the .com (by weeks), but what can you do? Next time...

  • A message board is available as a place to chat, get to know each other, post messages and opinions and build the Kimberly community further. Registration is free.

  • The old Tripod account will go down by the end of August.

  See you soon!
